All nature lives in polarity - light and dark, creation and destruction, up and down, male and female. It is not surprising that we find the same basic law functioning in our psychological structure.
Shadow begins to form very early on. Growing up as children, we start to divide our characteristics onto those that are acceptable to our society and those that have to be put away. When we hide what was not accepted long enough, it becomes a shadow.
But hidden parts of ourselves don't go anywhere. While denying or suppressing them, the shadow parts continue to exist in the subconscious mind impacting our day-to-day lives. We might do things we wouldn’t voluntarily do and later regret. We might say things we wouldn’t say. We might behave in a way that hurts our personal or professional relationship. In addition, a suppressed shadow distorts our reality like if we would be looking at the world through the muddy glass. We start seeing in others what we deny in ourselves projecting our shadow on them and suffering from this dark illusion.
Shadow integration is an important step towards psychological and emotional maturity. Getting to know your shadow side brings a sense of authenticity and wholeness into your life. You start to care for yourself in a new way recognising that great potential of your inner world which is no longer hidden from you.

24 April DAY 1 - Becoming Aware
Theoretical Part: what the Shadow is and what types of it exist, how it forms and expresses itself in the day-to-day life, why shadow parts are so valuable, how to consciously bring its value into use and more.
Practical Part: three practical exercises and a homework
1 May DAY 2 - Allowing It to Be
Theoretical Part: what tools are necessary to begin working with the shadow, what obstacles we might face on the way, how to develop our capacity to stay with the discomfort, what is non-judgemental awareness and how to use it and more.
Practical Part: two practical exercises and a homework
8 May DAY 3 - Getting to Know It
Theoretical Part: what psychological projection is, how other people act as mirrors, collective shadow.
Practical Part: two practical exercises and a homework
15 May DAY 4 - Integration
Theoretical Part: state of dividedness, how intersection of opposites creates a more essential reality, restoring our “I” to its wholeness.
Practical Part: group work for shadow integration
With a blend of emotion-image therapy, psychoanalysis theory, emotional intelligence and awareness practices, each session Anna will guide you through a series of powerful exercises. These are designed to help you connect to the hidden neglected parts of your inner world, to tap into your own trust and power. So much wisdom is hidden in our subconscious mind, and you will learn how to access those parts for wholeness, balance and psychological maturity.
Each session is 1 hour 30 minutes (the last sessions is 2 hours) and will be held over Zoom (details will be emailed to you). The sessions are one week apart, to allow you time for integration and processing.
The group format allows for sharing process that widens your perspective and enriches your experience. Inner work becomes more effective where deeper integration is possible. A group is limited by 6 participants for the quality of experience.
This is a live course, not pre recorded, so you will be working with Anna directly. This also means group sizes are small and spaces are very limited.
